Mehmet Emin Baday completed his secondary education at Belmont High School in Canada and obtained his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Westminster. Throughout his academic career, he built a strong theoretical foundation in finance, accounting, and business management, and after graduation he interned at various international companies. He broadened his sectoral knowledge and experience by working in different departments of his family businesses, which operate primarily in the energy sector as well as in logistics, storage, and mining. He is currently the sole shareholder and Chairman of the Board of BDY Group İnşaat A.Ş. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Ditaş Doğan Yedek Parça İmalat ve Teknik A.Ş., whose shares are traded on Borsa İstanbul. In addition to these roles, he is the sole shareholder and a Member of the Board of Directors of Metragen DM Cc, based in Dubai; through this company, he supplies liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to Türkiye. He has an advanced level of English.
